Jarrod Smith

Jarrod Smith is the defensive line coach and the assistant varsity basketball coach at Fairborn High School. He is in his seventh year coaching varsity football and his third year coaching high school basketball. 

He received his master's in education with initial licensure in special education and reading from the University of Dayton in May of 2021. He received his bachelor of arts with a double major in criminal justice and psychology from Indiana University-Bloomington. He attended Indiana University-Bloomington on a full athletic scholarship, where he was a center and guard. He also played defensive end and tackle his last two years. He was a three-year letter winner and a 2009 captain for the Indiana Hoosiers. He played for the late Head Coach Terry Hoeppner and Head Coach Bill Lynch. 

He is an alumnus of Fairborn High School (class of 2006), where he was a two-year letter winner in football (Head Coach Roy Thobe) and basketball (Head Coach Todd Grimm). Feel free to contact him via email or at his office number. He is married to Casey Smith and has one daughter, Collyn (1).
