Fairborn Skyhawks Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 13-3 loss to Carlisle on Thursday.
The Skyhawks struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Carlisle, giving up 13 runs.

Brayden Harris, Cayden Bailey, Andrew Schmidt, and David Richardson each managed one hit to lead the Skyhawks. Andrew Schmidt (pictured) and David Richardson each hit a double in the game. Cayden Bailey, David Richardson, and Xavier McDougle accounted for the RBI with one each.

The Skyhawks take on Tipp City at Wright State Saturday at 8:00
