Fairborn Skyhawks Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 14-1 loss to Butler on Tuesday. The Skyhawks struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Butler, giving up 14 runs. While Butler hit the ball well (12 hits including 4 doubles) Skyhawks pitching allowed 11 walks and committed 3 errors allowing the game to be as lopsided as it was.
The Skyhawks had 4 hits including a run scoring double by Parker Keeton (pictured). Brayden Harris, Cayden Bailey and Billy Hill collected the other three hits for the Skyhawks.
Fairborn takes on Dayton Christian at Wright State's Nischwitz field Thursday at 6:00 for senior night.
