Fairborn Skyhawks fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-0 loss to Piqua on Wednesday.
The Skyhawks gave up 3 runs in the first inning on 0 hits, 4 walks and 2 errors. The Skyhawks pitching gave up 12 hits and 5 walks over 7 innings. 5 errors also aided in the lopsided affair.
Fairborn hit the ball well, having only 4 strikeouts, but Piqua defense made plays on many of the hit balls. Fairborn totaled 6 hits, 2 by Hayden Arndts (pictured), 2 by Caleb Anderson, and one hit each for Billy Hill and Caleb Anderson. Billy Hill hit the lone extra base hit with a double in the 4th inning. Depite having multiple baserunners, the Skyhawks were unable to push a run across the plate, leaving 8 runners on base for the game.

The Skyhawks travel to Trotwood Thursday at 5:00.
