The Skyhawks win big against Stebbins 15-0.
Carson Majors started the game for the Skyhawks and threw to one batter and had to come out due to arm issues. Xavier McDougle came in and pitched 4 great innings, giving up 0 runs, 1 hit and 2 walks. Cayden Osborne pitched the 5th, allowing 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 3.
While the Skyhawks did not have as good a day hitting as one might think when scoring 15 runs, (only 7 hits on the day), they drew 9 walks and had 3 hit batters to go along with the 7 hits.
Xavier McDougle led the Skyhawks going 3-4 including a triple and had 2 RBI. Tanner Adams (pictured) was 1-1 and busted a single in the 4th inning to knock in 2 runs. Reuben Marquess went 2-4 and Andrew Schmidt collected the other hit for the Skyhawks. Kannon Reeser stole 2 bases, upping his league leading total to 27 for the year.
The Skyhawks are now 9-7 overall, and 6-6 in the conference.
They take on Piqua Monday at home at 5:30.
