The Skyhawks take a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the 5th, but give up 2 in the top of the 6th to drop a close game vs Piqua 3-2. Kannon Reeser took the mound for the Skyhawks and pitched very well, throwing a complete game throwing only 74 pitches. He gave up 11 hits and 3 runs (all earned) but stranded 7 runners and did not walk a batter while striking out 2. The defense behind him played very well, committing no errors, and making some solid plays in the field to keep the score close.

Offensively, the Skyhawks hit the ball well, but ended with only 2 hits. Gavin Howard had the big hit for the Skyhawks in the bottom of the 5th with a 3 RBI triple to put the Skyhawks up. Cayden Osborne had a single as the only other hit int he game. The Skyhawks had 8 strikeouts in the game, and drew only one walk.
