In the final game for the Lady Skyhawks, Kyla Garber broke the career saves record for Fairborn High School. Garber battled through injuries all season and was instrumental in the team’s success this year!
Kyla Garber had 314 career saves at Fairborn High School leading into the tournament game vs. Troy. His 17 saves set a new record for Skyhawk Athletics of 331. She is a junior at Fairborn High School and will be back next season!
Varsity Coach Marty Mlod states, "The number of saves Kyla has made for Fairborn is impressive. The goal is an adamant position. She overcame injuries and made amazing saves against tough opponents, keeping our team in the game. When she is between the sticks, we know we will have a chance to win."
